Making an appointment

If this is an urgent matter, or if you are looking to schedule a pregnancy related visit please call our office at (480) 767-0010. We have emergency appointment times available for patients who need them.

Pregnancy visits, new or routine, may need to be scheduled in conjuntion with ultrasounds,   laboratory services, or other testing. Our staff friendly will be happy to help you coordinate your appointment.

Gynecology visits For non-urgent matters, including annual Well-Woman Exams please call the office and our schedulers will be happy to help you. If you are scheduling an annual exam with a pap smear, please note that most insurance carriers allow only one well woman exam every 365 days. Scheduling too early can cause your claim to be denied for the office visit and the laboratory services. This means you would be responsible for all charges.Please check with your insurance plan for your specific benefit.  If you are unsure of  the date of your last pap smear, please call the office and our staff will be happy to check for you.

Please be aware that our office charges a fee for missed appointments and same day cancellations or reschedules.

Renewing your prescription

For your convenience, we e-prescribe. If you need a medication refill, please call your pharmacy and they will contact us to complete request. Please allow 1-2 business days for processing.

Requesting medical records

You may request your medical records by completing the appropriate form under the “Patient Forms” tab above and emailing the request to staff@sheawomenscare.com. Please allow 10-15 days for our office to release records. Please be advised that if you are having records sent to us from another office, it can take up to 30 days. That is the max time allowed by law.

Questions about your bill

Our practice makes every effort to resolve any issues with the insurance company before sending out your bill. If you have questions about your copay, coinsurance, or deductible amounts please contact your insurance company first.  If your questions is still not resolved, please call us and to our billing staff will be happy to assist you.

I need to get in touch with my physician

If you have an urgent matter related to care during or after regular business hours, call us at (480) 767-0010. After hours our Emergency Service will direct your call.

For non-urgent matters, our office phone number is still  the best way to communicate with us during and after business hours.  Dr.Carter and Dr. Giali check messages regularly, and generally respond within 24 hours. If it is after hours, and you need to cancel an or reschedule an appointment, please wait and call the office the following morning. Our after hours service is reserved for urgent medical matters only.
