Andrew Carter, MD

Dr. Andrew Carter completed his Ob/Gyn residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock, an academic center at the forefront of clinical education through evidence-based practice. Dr. Carter graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine. His bachelor’s degree in Political Science and East Asian Studies was obtained from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a Morehead Scholar.

 

Dr. Carter has served served as chair and vice-chair for the Dept. of Ob/Gyn at Scottsdale Healthcare Shea. He is also a member of that department’s executive committee. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and has been listed in Phoenix Magazine’s Top Docs.

 

Since beginning practice in 2003 in Scottsdale he has enjoyed providing personalized care in obstetrics and gynecology. 

 

Dr. Carter is married to Dr. Jodi Carter, a pediatrician.  They have two young children, a girl and a boy.  As a family, they enjoy travel and biking.
